The AMWAY corporation is a huge outfit situated
in a little town called Ada near Grand Rapids, Mich.
It employs a large number of people at the plant itself,
in addition to all the sellers.

Even living in Mich for seven years, I was only 
approached once by an AMWAY rep.

It seems to me to be similar to Tupperware or
Mary Kay Cosmetics.
If you sell the stuff to other people, you get
a discount on the stuff you want to buy.

I don't know who buys all the products or how
these guys make their money.
What I do know is that there is now an
AMWAY Grand Plaza Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids,
which is magnificent.
 
I feel rather fortunate to have escaped the
AMWAY corporation.
