I hope I'm never that desparate that I would go through all of that *just*
because I *might* meet a woman that way. Anyway, the trick is not just to
meet women. The trick is to meet women who share my interests. I'll 
accomplish that by doing the activities that I enjoy doing,
not by choosing activities on the basis of how many women there are.

I guess I'm lucky that I like skiing. It also attracts healthy, fun-loving
people. And where else but on a ski lift line is it considered normal and
proper to walk up to a young lady and ask, "Are you single?"
