 Hi, I need some help:

   I need help on ndbm(3x) and socket(2).

   What would be best would be a simple sample program for theses routines.
 If some one could take a file (say /etc/passwd) and use ndbm() on that, then
 I can run it on ours and see how ndbm() works. When I used ndbm(), it created
 the *.pag and *.dir files, but I could not retrieve the information from the
 files (it kept reaching eof).

   Sockets. Well, I'm not having any luck with these. The ipc doc. does not
 explain it too clearly for me (please, no comments). If someone  has a
 a simple program that would demonstrate the ipc routines under the UNIX domain
 and under any other form they think appropriate.

   Posting to net.sources would probably be best, but mailing to me would be
 fine. If I get mail directly, I will post what I get if enough others are
 interested.
