I was rightly flamed on that. I worded it very badly. There was a trade-off decision to be made between the single-shot rockets that could get us to the moon by 1969, and the reuseable DynaSoar that could get us a space station then, but probably not to the moon. I agree with the decision to go with the skyrockets, but I lament the need to cut out the DynaSoar project. In an ideal world, funding would have been available for both.
