This has the effect of inserting when VMS thinks that the end of a page is near. Also you will need to set up the device as PASTHRU in order that all the control sequences get through without VMS molesting them. We have been using TeX with an LN03 under VMS for several months and get good results. One caveat though, you will need to buy at least one and preferably two RAM cartridges if you want to set anything fancy.
