I currently have the Disney Channel and enjoy it very much.  Most of
my viewing is at night (after 6pm).  

Disney did not change their schedule much during that freebie viewing.
They changed a movie one night to be "Old Yeller."  But the daily
schedules remained the same.

As far as good viewing, they have the usual Disney classics plus an
assortment of series (WW of Disney, Still the Beaver, etc).  Also, 
each month they show a "special feature" such as the Sword & the Stone,
Robin Hood, Pete the Dragon, etc.
