Hmm. I want this series to succeed (I'm a fan of the original "zone") but was less than impressed with the first episode. I admire Harlan Ellison's writing, but the screen adaptation of "Shatterday" was a disappointment; Bruce Willis (sp?) (who is quite good in "Moonlighting") seemed shallow and lifeless, possibly due to bad direction, and the whole story seemed much too long and drawn-out. The second story was better, even though the ending was obvious almost from the beginning. Even the opening credits were lackluster; more reminiscent of "Night Gallery" than the original "zone". I hope it gets better, but I'm not setting my hopes too high. Looking forward to "Amazing Stories"' debut tonight. Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
