On the Vax/VMS system I am using, users are limited to 10000 blocks.
Now I am rapidly running out of space and was wondering if there is
a file compression utility for VMS similar to:

compact/uncompact
compress
sq/usq
...

I would be grateful to recieve sources ( C or Fortran ) for any
such utility working on VMS.
