The state of the art in kermits is apparently C-Kermit, available for anonymous ftp from CU20B.ARPA (see the file KER:AAAREAD.ME), along with kermits for every (almost) imaginable machine/OS combination. These kermit implementations are also available via USENET through Oklahoma State University (write them or me for details).
