ASG, San Diego, CA. Lines: 26 Xref: watmath net.micro.atari:1251 net.wanted:7279 I am going to use an 800xl as an interim solution to a machine-control problem, and as an interim terminal. To do this, I need to know the details of the various interfaces to the 800XL. Thus, the following questions: 1. What are the pinouts, signals, and timings on the interfaces: what do the signals mean, when are they sourced and sunk, what are the drive capabilities of the outputs, and the drive requirements of the inputs? 2. Where should I look to find this information, if it's not directly available in my mailbox as a result of this request? :-) 3. What about software interfaces--calling sequences, parameters, preconditions and postconditions for the entry points? The meanings of 'peek'ing and 'poke'ing at the various data elements? Any and all helpful information, either answers or pointers, will be appreciated, not only by me, but by everyone that I praise you to. TIA, also.
