We talked with old friends who also had gathered to watch the final curtain fall on the brave little winery that struggled so valiantly against the big computer giant--and lost. We wonder how in all honesty Computerland can launch a "campaign against world hunger" while deliberately allowing this lovely vineyard to die from lack of care and water. We're sending a plea out to our 1000 members to put out "feelers" for someone who might want to buy this historic 600 acre vineyard. Call Computerland." For those outside the Livermore valley--another vineyard bites the dust-- Computerland has plans for an industrial park... -- William C.
