     Jody has a good point about the wide acceptance of the dehumanizing and
violent 'slasher flicks' like Friday the 13th.  Boycotting them is all fine and
good but it may not have much impact on anything beyond our own feelings of 
selfrightiousness.  How about boycotting And writing letters explaining your
reasons for doing so to the local newspaper(s)?  You'll only be heard if you 
speak...
