Hewlett-Packard announces the HP 9000 Series 300 computer family.  These are
modular computers available in two models:
        Model 310   10.0 MHz MC68010, upgradeble to...
        Model 320   16.6 MHz MC68020 with MC68881 co-processor

Operating    HP-UX 5.0 (single or 16-user), BASIC Language System 4.0 and
    systems  Pascal Language System 3.1.  Sys V.2-compatible HP-UX 5.0 has
	     BSD4.2,  real-time and 8/16-bit native-language enhancements.
Languages    Assembler, BASIC, C, FORTRAN77, HP Pascal
Memory       512Kb to 7.5Mb physical; 16Mb or 4Gb virtual
Built-in     12-in.     512x390 bit-mapped monochromatic or color
   displays  17 / 19-in. 1024x768 bit-mapped monochromatic / color
Interfaces   Analog, BCD, breadboard, DMA, EPROM, GPIO (parallel), HP-HIL,
	     HP-IB (IEEE-488), Multiprogrammer (HP6944A), LAN (IEEE-802.3

The Series 300 is descended from the MC68000-based  Series 200 introduced in
1981.  Upgrades from Series 200 computers are available, and most Series 200
I/O and accessory cards are supported.
