How good they are for serious listening I shall leave to those who have listened to them more than I have. However... The PA speakers in the 901-shaped cabinet are total and absolute garbage!!! I suffered through these during a couple of Chicagofests. Talk about distortion! Radio Sluck AM radios sound fantastic compared to these disasters. Sure they get loud. Big deal. The sirens Tek uses for fire alarms are loud (approx 5.6 x 10^19 dB) too. And if I never hear those things again it'll be too soon too.
