I understand that lacquer is superior in some ways to enamel, but it is very expensive (14 coats you know :-). What brands of acrylic enamel do you like? Does adding a polyurythane do any good? How many coats (is 3 enough)? Are there any tricks or questions that I should be asking of the people I talk to about doing the work? What is a fair price to just paint the car? (I will do all my own body work and remove all parts, I just don't have the facilities to spray). Replies by mail please, any comments welcome. -- ***dan {allegra, astrovax, princeton, twg}!fisher!djl The misplaced (You call *that* a ski slope??) Californian
