The standard mirrors are so puny, you can't see anything. The optional large mirrors are poorly designed, constructed cheaply, and embarrassingly expensive (chrome: $66 ! ). So I decided I wish to remove the original equipment mirrors and mount real mirrors on the doors' sheet metal. But, after I remove the original mirrors, I'll have to screw some kind of dummy cover plate into the triangular place where the mirrors used to be.
