I was just recently checked out on a 152 at an airport where
no one knew me ... I had to demonstrate acouple of normal
landings, afew short field landing (as this airport only
has a 1800' grass strip) .. minumum control speed abilities
 .. D'stalls and A'stalls and a few turns.      

Not much at all .. took about .8 hr.

My log was looked at and he wanted to see that I had a current
medical.

Then sign your life away on their renters agreement contract.
