I've just recently got into biking and have noticed that my knees get a little irritated. A visit to my podiatrist with the bike revealed the problem, bad alignment of my feet in the toe clips. He has recommended that I get a pair of bicycle shoes to keep my feet and knees aligned. I do wear foot orthotics (2nd worst documented case of forefoot varus in the US). Any suggestions on shoes (i.e. brands to look at, brands to avoid, what to look for in a cleat, etc) would be greatly appreciated. send responses by mail, and I'll post if anyone wants me to. Thanks Dave Vollman ..!ihnp4!ihu1g!dwv
