Since we're on the subject of bizarre potables and comestibles, does
anyone know if Moxie still exists?  When I was in high school -- good
old Cranston East -- there were a couple of stores that still sold
Moxie.  I haven't seen it since then (1971).

Anyone who has ever tasted Moxie will know why any reference to this
beverage belongs in net.bizarre.  I rather liked it, but then I like
to eat a box of Tide while watching the Tonight Show.
