I don't know about the no indigestion part, but raw potatoes contain
an alkloid called solanine which is reputed to be somewhat toxic. I believe
more of it is concentrated in the skins. I don't know what the symptoms are,
but if you were real lucky you might have the pleasure of an episode of
extreme uncontrollable vomiting which might even be more fun than eating
a raw potatoe to begin with.
