My parents had some bad experiences with an EMMERSON stereo- like 6 months
to 1 year to replace a small, usually common part. The store claimed that
they have all sorts of problems with Emmerson equipment.

Now, for the question. I am going on a honeymoon to Fiji, New Zealand, and 
Australia in November, and would like to take along a portable VCR/camera
to record the trip. Has anyone had any experiences with these? I am looking
for a reasonably priced (< ~ $900 for the pair) set. Also, has anyone had
any experience buying one brand of camera and another type of portable VCR? 
Please respond fairly soon, as I would like to learn how to run it before
I leave.
