I purchased a few of them for inexpensive gifts and to throw in the tool box of my vehicle "just in case." They appear to be very cheaply made, but the compass works and the handle contains all the advertised stuff. It will take you some effort to get a usable edge on the knife blade, so don't expect to be able to shave with one of these things. The sharpening stone (included) is worthless. I wouldn't try prying ANYTHING with one of these (the handle would probably fall off!). Randy Lyman drutx!grl
