One way to help avoid unwanted phone calls is to get rid of people that
come to the door to get information for your CITY DIRECTORY.
These people are really hard-nosed and even try to get you to give them
your neighbor's phone number!

Another possible way people get your phone number is when you write a
check at a store (or similar financial dealing) where they want your 
phone number. Just tell them you do not have a phone.
