The point of attending college is to obtain an advanced education. If students cheat, they only hurt themselves (unless the college stupidly grades on a relative rather than an absolute basis). Surely no sensible employer believes that a college degree means that a person necessarily has specific knowledge and skills, or even that the person exists!
