I suspect that GNU emacs should (maybe) be checking the "xs" (standout not erased by overwriting) flag (I know it isn't), but I'm not sure yet. But all is not lost. If you make sure the 921 is in "embedded attribute" mode, you can use a tvi925 entry (this works fine with GNU emacs). BTW, I have a complete (as I can make it) set of Televideo termcaps (except for 970's, but those can emulate DEC's), and will post them to net.sources when I've got this GNU emacs problem worked out.
