Okay, so maybe it was my fault for even allowing the dial on my television
set to rest momentarily on the local Entertainment Tonight affiliate.  But
JEEZUS, if the government is really hellbent on investigating the labeling
of offensive material, why isn't this show forced to put up a banner line
at all times??

I just so happened to have stumbled smack dab in the middle of an interview
by Barbarbarbara Howar of those edge-cutters, Eurythmics.  Oh shit!!  They've
split up romantically--what will become of their music???  Okay, I'll admit
that the subject here didn't even start to interest me, but the sheer spectacle
of a CORPSE like Barbara Howar trying to look interested in what these Pop
Idols have to say...  It's bad enough that ET (that's so fucking cute!) is
a popular evening TV gossip and snews column, but when they sick an OLD
WARHORSE like Barbara Howar to cover anything approaching Pop Culture, it
JUST BURNS ME UP.  There are plenty of young proti-journalists with a semblance
of understanding of pop culture who would KILL for that opportunity.  Get
Howar back to the Perry Como circuit where she belongs.

BARBARA HOWAR IS NOTHING MORE THAN THE BRAD HALL OF TV ENTERTAINMENT REPORTERS!
