I don't think you, or the sponsoring senator, or most Americans know the first thing about satanism, the occult or witchcraft. I don't know much about it either, but laws already exist that prohibit the types of lawlessness you describe. Any American should be able to worship any deity he/she wants to. If they break the law in doing so that's another can of worms.
