It seems that the JDL can >act with total immunity, without fear of investigation, prosecution, or >reprisal. I have never heard of "The Execution". It is a very rare movie that manages to get out into distribution without my hearing about it. Now, I'm not saying that this film doesn't exist. There are several possibilities. It may be a TV movie, which I don't usually bother with. It may be that it has not yet been released. It may be that it has recieved limited release in certain parts of the country, such as the south, and has not yet appeared in LA. It may be that Mr. Black has the title wrong. However, I can state with confidence that no well-known, influential film of this title has been generally released in US theaters in the last fifteen years. This may explain why we haven't heard about theaters playing it being picketed or firebombed. By the way, the Klan did once make such a movie, or, more precisely, were used as advisors in such a film and were presented as heros for terrorist activities. Ever seen "Birth of a Nation"? Or, for that matter, "Gone With the Wind"? I would be much more concerned with the occurences Mr. Black has been pointing out were it not for the fact that his sources are generally people who have been demonstrated to be liars, in my opinion. While such occurences might not make national newspapers, they are bound to be covered in local newspapers. Do you have any such references, Mr. Black, or must we rely on the more than slightly questionable and prejudiced sources you site? -- Peter Reiher reiher@LOCUS.UCLA.EDU {...ihnp4,ucbvax,sdcrdcf}!ucla-cs!reiher
