NoCal people tend to be stRAnge-- you just have to find >people with strangeness that you find aceeptable. > all right, all right, YOU have to LOOK hard to find one because all the intelligent, tanned, athletic women want intelligent, buff, and I mean ultra-buff dudes...and that means a lot of iron-pumping. ;-) by the way, for your information there are Southern Californian women PhDs in stuff you wouldn't dream about--like check out CalTech. Southern Californians must have some grey matter or else universities and aerospace companies and research labs wouldn't all be concentrated out here. Frankly I don't understand why people are always picking on California. and in particular, LA. I find LA to be a vibrant interesting place with a sunny disposition and palm trees swaying in the breeze. It's ethnic diversity and grids of freeways makes the place totally cosmopolitan. Where else can you get up in the morning, jog on the beach, go skiing in the afternoon, have food for dinner, and then go dancing until dawn, then head out to the desert for a bit of rockclimbing the next day, after which you can jump off a cliff hang-gliding, back for some more food, and finally back to the beach for some bodysurfing? Since I'm a friendly Californian I say let's all keep our minds open and experience different parts of the world without knocking it!
