(I Ah, yes! Glaive-guisarme! I had a gnome ( a hefty one) who could be seen astride a wolf ( pony was TOO large for him) and brandishing a small glaive-guisarme. He had STR of 18:8? (legal in that campaign) and did a LOT of damage. He also had his life saved more than thrice by giant rats and other "burrowing animals" ( remember? it's stated in the rules that gnomes speak " burrowing animals" tongues! ALL of them!(;->)).
