have been running a Ten-Tec Argonaut here over the past six years. Am
a cliff dweller so use a "Cliff Dweller's Special" hidden end-fed antenna
which runs from the bedroom where the shack is, out to the fire escape, and thenacross the roof. results are absolutely fantastic! Can't tell you how many
really fine CW and SSB QSOs I've had. The most amazing operation, however, is
on AMTOR with a Model 100 lap-portable CMOS machine and a kantronics
8039-based "universal" T.U. So far have had FB error-free ragchews with forty
states and five countries. have DXCC worked with the lil Argo on CW also
(not confirmed, but they're in the logbook). We also work QRP Field Day
every year with N2RI and KQ2G. It's amazing how we do. Of course, for FD
we put up a Bobtail curtain, phased wire arrays on 20, and extended Zepps
on 80 and 40. Ade Weiss'  Milliwatt trophy is to be supported!!
