There are some that do operate in the 160 meter band, although they are in the minority. last week I heard two cordless phones in the 30 meter band! Turns out that it was the 6th harmonic and both were S-9 signals. I don't know what can be done about this situation. I am sure that people would not willingly junk their phone just because it interferes with a ham. Has anyone else had experience with this type of interference or know what the FCC's reaction is? In the last few cases of interference to the amateur service I have had (caused by commercial transmitters) the FCC wanted us to solve the problem. Bob K9EUI
