A couple of weeks ago when the meteor-scatter packet-radio experiment was proposed during the Giacobini Zinner (sp?) pass-by I tried to set my station up on 145.09 to participate. I noticed a large amount of activity on the channel. Closer monitoring revealed that I was in fact still on 145.01. I switched back and forth several times to verify this and found it to be, sadly, the truth. I have never noticed any other abnormalities in the tuning of the rig and don't know, offhand, how to ferret out the problem. Anybody have any suggestions? 73 de Ron, WA2EYC --------------- PS: Sorry if you get this twice but I have posted it to both Info-hams and Packet-radio. rmh-eyc
