Most of those who did object were not complaining about the presence of the jokes on the network, they were complaining about the fact that people could make up these jokes and tell them at all. Rock Hudson was a real human being who died painfully, and who knew that he didn't have long to live. How can people treat this as funny? If you knew you were about to die, would you want people laughing about that fact? I just hope that Rock Hudson, his relatives, and his friends haven't had the misfortune of hearing any of these jokes.
