Message-ID: <180@pwa-b.UUCP> Date: Thu, 17-Oct-85 15:14:10 EDT Article-I.D.: pwa-b.180 Posted: Thu Oct 17 15:14:10 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 19-Oct-85 06:49:16 EDT Organization: Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, E. Hartford, CT Lines: 18 I am having a problem with Franz Lisp as distributed with 4.2BSD. 1) I do not know lisp, I'm only the systems guy 2) The user knows little or no lisp and/or Un*x The function (load 'myfile.l) returns with "Unable to open input file. myfile.l" What gives?? Looks straight foerward to me. The file exists and is readable. A complete path specification does not help -- the entire path is readable. If I request something like (load 'xxx.l) the error is "Cannot find file". Obviously myfile.l was found, but couldn't be opened. Any help/pointers/ bugfixes will be greatly appreciated. -- -->BoB Miorelli, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft philabs!pwa-b!miorelli utah-cs!utah-gr!pwa-b!miorelli
