Please send responses to the address shown below, NOT to me. -- Jerry Hello, I am working on a decision support environment somewhat related to the Program by Rehearsal metaphor. At least one common aspect is the mapping of: object -> stage with stages being StandardSystemView/Controller, and with stages being nestable. This is the tricky part: Giving each stage the ability to be a Standard System view, but allowing one to move one into another stage and have that action AUTOMATICALLY corresopond to declaring the stage as an instance variable in the new stage. This seems to imply a controller change. Any ideas on how Bill Finzer did this? Any ideas on how it should be done? Send replies directly to me: gutfreund%umass@csnet-relay.arpa As I am not on the UUCP net. P.S. can anyone help me getting copies of this mailing list sent to me directly. A hook in netnews to do a send to the ARPAnet maybe?
