Has anyone installed Berkley Smalltalk on a Sun 2/50 with release 2.0 ?

We've tried and got stuck.
First in sunprim.c, #define DisplayDevice "/dev/bwone0", 
/dev/bwone0 does not exist . 
We fixed that (using bwtwo0) and got as far as reading the image 
and translating but only the cursor appeared on the screen. 
After that bs has to be either killed manually or causes a panic.
(Also tried a Sun 2/120 with release 1.3 with the same results).

Any e-mailed clues, helpful hints or patches appreciated .
