jer and i frequently agree, but a recent comment is too outrageous to
overlook.  someone, hokey i think, said

	Talk to Peter Honeyman about pathparse.

to which jer replies

	This is sort of an AI solution, and human beings (if they are
	the prototype of AI, which some AI people claim they are not)
	make many mistakes unless they discipline their thinking
	well.   This includes not being swayed by counter arguments to
	your own unless you can see they are valid;

give me a fucking break, eric, pathparse and AI couldn't be more
dissimilar; read the paper or read the code.  whatever the
hell you're trying to say here lacks a sound premise.
