There is a 1024 byte command length limit for a 4.2 uux command. Probably smaller on other machines. In 4.2 it is BUFSIZ. Several people have already setup their sendmail configurations to do this and are happy. It turns out there is a parameter in the source MAXLINE which limits the length of line produced to the mailer. As distributed with 4.2 this parameter is set to 256. I would say that is a very safe number. In summary it is safe to allow multiple uucp recipients after checking with your neighbors for brain-damaged rmails.
