Lines: 56 Xref: sabre net.micro:2230 net.micro.68k:506 net.wanted:1204 na.forsale:218 FOR SALE Wicat Systems 150-WS-3 Workstation This three year old workstation has the following characteristics: + 68000 with proprietary memory management scheme + IEEE 796 Multibus + 10 Mbyte winchester disk + 960 Kbyte 5 1/4 inch floppy (double sided/double density) + 2 RS-232C serial ports + 1 parallel port + 256 Kbytes Wicat memory + 512 Kbytes MMI (Micro Memory Inc.) memory (model MM- 9000D) + VT100 compatible integral console terminal/keyboard This workstation is a self contained system. The CRT terminal, Multibus backplane, power supplies, etc. are mounted in a desktop enclosure. The MMI memory board is socketed for easy repair/upgrade. The board currently is populated with 512 kbytes of 64k chips. This can be expanded to 1 Mbyte by plugging in more chips. The board can accept 256k chips (via a field upgrade) to increase the capacity of the board to 4 Mbytes. Recent engineering change orders (ECO's) have been made to the hardware. Current releases of Wicat's MCS real-time multiuser, multitasking operating system (version 5.1) and "C" compiler are on the system. (Unix is also available for this machine.) Nice machine.
