Austin, Tx Lines: 14 [... is there really a hungry line-eater out there? ...] California Digital (among others) is carrying a modem called Smarteam 1200 (sometimes seen as Pro-Team or Team 212A). It is supposed to be a 300/1200 baud, auto-dial, auto-answer, and almost(?) 100% Hayes compatible. Even the case looks the same. At $189, it is about half the price of a Hayes Smartmodem. Does anybody out there have any knowledge and experience with this product? I know of people who have purchased other products from C.D. and are satisfied with their service. Please e-mail. If enough responses, I'll post a summary. Luis Basto
