We installed a doodad that forced two posts (Contributions to the System) before anything like downloading *anything* was allowed. You'd think we'd end up with two-line posts and stuff, right? Well, it happened a bit, but mostly we got quite a lot of interesting stuff from _many) users. We also lost quite a few (useless) users with a post call ratio auto-user-delete system. But, because of a generally callous feeling from users, and time constraints, the system went down. After a while, the bads outweigh the goods on sysoping many BBS's. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- D.
