     I have had no problem with this, 'system' worked find for me.

     I have had the same problem, in addition when I tried to use 'SNAPSHOT',
I begain to have problems with that disk. I don't know if this was because
of 'SNAPSHOT' or somthing else unrelated. 'SNAPSHOT' saves all the currently
selected icons (& windows) so that when that disk is again selected these
icons will be shown and selected.
