I spoke with CBM technical support, they (at first) thought that Preferences was a replace- ment, but I pointed out that you couldn't change parity, stop bits, etc... If you are a developer, they might send it to you (I didn't ask for it, my local dealer had it on one of his old demo disks!) ... as far as talking to the Vax, both Vmess and Unix are smart enough to change their own params on the port, so for now, change the Vax to like what the Amiga likes. ~BP
