He also talks about the rumored Nat'l Semi 32000- based machines being worked up at Atari; he says that Nat'l wants the business so bad that their people are taking an active hand in getting the 'TT' series designed ('ST' for Sixteen/Thirty-two, referring to the 68000's bus/internal widths vs. Thirty-two^2 for Nat'l part). Mention is also made of the AMIE sound chip upgrade and a possible 256- color graphics chip upgrade. Couple this with the AT&T deal alluded to in the Washington Post (see the followup to the item I dragged over from net.amiga), and Atari looks real good vs. Commodore. Now, how soon will this stuff hit the shelves?!?!
