I am very interested in the sound and MIDI-features of the ST, but I have some questions: - What are the possibilities of the built in music chip and what are the builtin GEMDOS system calls to use them? I already recovered the sound(x,vol, pitch, oct) and wave() calls, but I don't know yet how to use different voices etc. - Is this chip really as bad as some people suggest? Then I would rather use the MIDI-connections, since I have in mind to buy a MIDI-synthesizer soon. Anybody knows of some (coming) software for MIDI-applications? I'd appreciate the experiences and opinions of some other (music)- interested ST-owners. Thanx, Raoul. -- Raoul Boomsma Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam ...!mcvax!boomsma@ark.UUCP
