San Diego, Cognitive Science Lab Lines: 22 Woa is me... I have one of the early 1541 drives that is out of alignment. What is strange about this problem is that it can read track 1 ok but by the time it gets to track 35 it is just enough out of wack to not want to read 35. I think it has something to do with the protection of the disk, but I sure would like to be able to load the disk. One more thing, if I put a little back presure on the head (to force it to step a half track) I can get it to read track 35. This is a lousy way to load a game. What next ????
