San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 12 Summary: Red Ryder 6.2 can replace Red Ryder 4.0 and Macterminal The new version of Red Ryder is 6.2. It supports Ascii, XModem, and Kermit file transfers, and VT-100 terminals. I hope this helps you. However, I have been having a problem, which no one in San Diego seems to have heard of. When using Red Ryder 6.2 on a UNIX VAX, and using VI, Red Ryder inevitably freezes up (crashes, but does not display the 'bomb', it just stops working). This always happens to me after a few minutes of work, and usually sometime after typing ctrl L. I'm using the VT-100 terminal type. After re-booting the Mac, I'm still sitting in VI on the VAX, waiting to continue. If anyone has had similair problems, let me know. David Shayer @ UCSD
