I went into my MacTerminal with Resource Editor and turned off the alert box. Not too hard: Pop up the list of ALRTs and the list of DITLs. Start looking at the DITLs match ALRTs (same ID) until you find one that says 'There is not file "" on your disk. You can run MacTerminal, but you will be unable to print.' (This is 4196 in MacTerminal 1.1.) Then open the corresponding ALRT item and set all the "stg?snd*" and "stg?boxDrawn" buttons to 0. This should prevent the alert box from appearing. -- =Spencer ({ihnp4,decvax}!utah-cs!thomas, thomas@utah-cs.ARPA) "When wrath runs rampage in your heart you must hold still that rambunctions tongue!" - Sappho
