I mean comparisons between computers ------- like IBM PC/XT, Compaq Deskpro, Kaypro 16, Apricot Xi, NCR PC, Ericsson PC etc.? How often do the machines fail completely or partially (Mean Time Between Failure)? Which parts fail the most often? and so on. If you can help, please mail to me at ...mcvax!cernvax!hslrswi!hslraxe!blair I am interested in facts. However since suppliers vary so much round the world, leave facts about suppliers out. If any coherent picture emerges, I will try and find time to summarize to the net.
